Toru Horiguchi

In 1999, Toru Horiguchi began studying the Edo Kiriko craftsmanship under 2nd Generation Shuseki, Tomio Suda, a registered Important Intangible Cultural Asset of Koto-ku, Tokyo. In 2008, Toru established his own company, Horiguchi Kiriko. In 2009 and 2010, he consecutively won the first prize at 'Edo Kiriko New Work Exhibition'. Since 2010, he has been registered as a Master of Traditional Crafts in Japan.
