An opportunity to meet and hear about the making challenges behind some of these remarkable pieces and get an insight into four widely underused yet abundant species from the American forests.

AHEC and Benchmark furniture invite you to a talk to meet some of the craftsmen behind the Discovered project at the Design Museum.
Wallpaper* and the American Hardwood Export Council present Discovered, a platform to promote and support design’s next generation, in partnership with the Design Museum, London. Twenty designers from 16 countries across the world have been invited to create an object that represents the functional and emotional connections to our everyday objects, guided by the themes of touch, reflection and strength.
This is an opportunity to meet and hear about the making challenges behind some of these remarkable pieces and get an insight into four widely underused yet abundant species from the American forests.
