Cubitts Spectacle Frame-Making Workshop
An introduction to the craftsmanship that goes into designing and hand making a pair of spectacles using traditional methods, from plotting facial measurements to hand sawing and filing a frame.

Join Cubitts at their new state-of-the-art workshop for an evening of spectacle making.
Hosted by their studio team, participants become trainee spectacle makers, taken through the process to create your own handmade frame. Working from sheet acetate, learn how to hand saw your frame, file to sub-millimetre precision, before finishing with a spot of bridge bumping, lens grooving and hand polishing.
