Becky Cocks at Bamford

Exhibition at Bamford South Audley
Becky Cocks trained in theatre and sculpture and has spent her career working with artists and makers. Bamford has collaborated with Becky on a collection of plaster and papier-mâché vessels called FORM.
Becky’s approach to work is experimental and playful; she is constantly inventing, problem solving and visualising in 3D to create works that celebrate the beauty of natural materials. Forming by hand and working to the capabilities of the material further emphasises the individuality of each piece.
A selection of specially-made pieces for Bamford is available to view and buy at Bamford South Audley for the duration of London Craft Week.
Workshop
Having developed a collection of plaster and papier-mâché vessels called FORM in collaboration with Bamford, Rebecca hosts two workshops in her studio. A unique chance to learn the principles behind sculpting in this medium along with:
- using a relief
- making a model
- making a mould
- mixing and making the relevant materials to make in papier-mâché and plaster items for yourself
- making an object in the studio to take with you
