City & Guilds of London Art School Presents Material Matters: Clay Symposium
The Art School’s second Material Matters symposium features a cross-disciplinary online programme of speakers, including artists, craftspeople, art historians and other clay experts. The symposium also celebrates the work of the Art School’s own Elaine Wilson (1959–2021). Supported by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
About
The Art School’s second Material Matters symposium takes place online in a free, one-day event during London Craft Week.
With a cross-disciplinary programme of speakers, including artists, craftspeople, art historians and other clay experts, the symposium also celebrates the work of the Art School’s own Elaine Wilson (1959–2021). This year’s symposium is kindly supported by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
