Make your own scatter cushion from natural materials, in the heritage interiors of Burgh House, Hampstead.

The workshop includes:
– An introduction to natural upholstery materials.
– Exploration of upholstery fabrics made with natural materials and supplied by Camira Fabrics.
– A choice of natural upholstery materials to produce a luxuriously soft and supportive cushion inner.
– How to make your own fabric-covered buttons.
– The process of tufting with buttons.
– Learning an upholstery hand-stitching technique.

Please note, there is no use of sewing machines in this event. Upholstery needles can be sharp, so please bring a rubber thimble.
