Housed in a three-floor converted warehouse space in the heart of the East End, Shoreditch Design Rooms is one of the most innovative and successful upholstery training schools in the country, with an adjoined professional upholstery workshop specialising in mid-century furniture.

Join for an immersive, daytime workshop and discover the art of upholstery. Working with a newly developed sustainable foam alternative, participants are introduced to essential upholstery skills such as foaming and glueing, plus measuring and cutting fabric for application, with plenty of room to experiment and personalise your piece.

Suitable for beginners, this relaxed workshop celebrates the joy of working with your hands, along with expert guidance every step of the way. Bring your own fabric and enjoy the process of transforming it into a custom, functional piece of furniture. All other materials are provided, allowing you to focus on learning and creating.

Please note that you need to bring at least 50×50 cm of upholstery-weight fabric. Bringing a variety of fabrics gives you the flexibility to explore creative options and customise your stool.
