About
Srabani Ghosh is a London-based Bengali visual artist specialising in ceramic sculpture and works on paper. Rooted in storytelling, her ceramic sculpture explores heritage, identity, and human experience through intricate patterns and fluid forms. Influenced by Bengal’s artisanal traditions, she merges age-old techniques of coiling, slip inlay and sgraffito with contemporary sensibilities, creating richly detailed monochrome surfaces.
Experimenting with scale and materiality, Ghosh’s sculptures act as visual chronicles of memory and belonging. Her work bridges past and present, transforming personal narratives into universal reflections on the evolving human condition.
Recognised by Michelangelo Foundation as Homo Faber Master Artisan and Member of the Royal Society of sculptors, Ghosh’s works have been exhibited internationally, and are held in private collections across Europe, Asia, and the USA.
