Behind the Scenes: How Wigs are made – join English National Opera’s Senior WHAM Technician as she talks through how a wig is made, from foundation and knotting, to setting and dressing. All of the wigs for every ENO production are made with exceptional skill by their in-house Wigs, Hair & Make Up Department, take part in this workshop to see this process up close and the opportunity to understand this integral part of character building. Located at English National Opera’s theatre, the London Coliseum, the event involves a practical hands-on session, a Q&A with other members of the team, plus a brief backstage tour before the workshop.
