About
A one-day pop-up exhibition set in the historic Cutlers’ Hall, this silversmithing and jewellery exhibition on 12 May 2026 invites visitors to experience contemporary craftsmanship in one of London’s most distinguished livery halls.
Bringing together alumni of Bishopsland Educational Trust who are now leading silversmiths and jewellery designers in the UK, the exhibition celebrates contemporary silversmithing and heritage craftsmanship. From bold, sculptural silver pieces to finely detailed jewellery that balances innovation with tradition, the showcase highlights exceptional skill, imaginative design and flawless execution.
The exhibition is curated by Bishopsland’s Principal Angela Cork and will appeal to Silver enthusiasts, collectors, designers, interior designers students, and anyone with an interest in high quality craft and making. Visitors can expect a diverse range of techniques on display, including hand-raising, chasing, engraving, enamelling and much more. Our Makers proudly source ethically mined Silver and embrace sustainability and circularity.
In addition to the exhibition, the event provides an invaluable opportunity to meet the Makers behind the work. Throughout the day, exhibitors will be available to discuss their processes, inspirations, and career paths, offering insight into the realities of working within contemporary silversmithing and jewellery practice. Whether you are seeking to commission a bespoke piece, expand a collection, or simply gain a deeper appreciation of the craft, these conversations form a vital part of the experience.
Over 25 Makers will be featured including Bishopsland’s 2025/6 cohort of Emerging Makers plus well known, collected and established Makers such as Angela Cork; Bryony Knox; Miriam Hanid, Jessica Jue, Caitlin Murphy; Katie Watson
