Qu Biaoxiang works with Yi ethnic costume, hand embroidery, and woven jewellery, presenting these traditions through touring exhibitions across China and internationally. His work has been showcased at major cultural, fashion, and trade events including the Beijing International Horticultural Expo, China International Import Expo, London World Chinese Business Conference, Nordic International Jewellery Fair (Denmark), New Delhi International Jewellery Fair (India), China International E-commerce Expo, China International Fashion Week (Beijing), and multiple editions of China Ethnic Culture and Art Fashion Week in Wuhan, Guiyang, and Guangzhou.
He has also participated in international touring programmes such as Yunnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Overseas Exhibitions in Paris and Germany, helping to introduce outstanding traditional crafts from Yunnan to a global audience.
Through international jewellery and fashion exhibitions in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, India, Thailand, and Myanmar, Qu Biaoxiang has actively promoted the stories, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage of Dali, Yunnan, sharing Yi aesthetics and indigenous craft traditions with audiences worldwide.
