About
Oolo London is the work of Lynn Harris Clark, a Texas-born jewellery designer based in London. Her practice is inspired by brutalist and modernist sculpture, the textures and atmosphere of desert landscapes, and an experimental approach to materials. Guided by instinct, Lynn often starts with a concept in mind and allows the material to lead, responding to how it moves, bends and resists, pushing this relationship between maker and material, to create forms that are both geometric and fluid, flowing and expressive.
Using ancient techniques such as charcoal casting, fusing and reticulation, she produces abstract, organic pieces with rich surface texture and patina that evoke the impression of natural forms created slowly over decades. Committed to sustainability, Lynn creates limited collections from her studio off-cuts, reworking materials with care and intention.
