Toni de Jesus (b. 1995, UK) is a Portuguese/British ceramic artist based in Wales at Fireworks Clay Studios. He graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2018 and was the recipient of the FRESH award at the British Ceramics Biennial (2019). He has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally, including his solo exhibition Cacúlo.
De Jesus is a Selected Member of the Craft Potters Association and a Homo Faber Guide member. His work has been featured in Ashley Thorpe’s Contemporary British Studio Pottery: Forms of Expression, as well as in Ceramic Review and VOGUE USA.
His work is held in public collections including MUDAS – Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Madeira (Portugal), Nantgarw China Works Museum (Wales), and National Museum Cardiff (Wales).
