How can traditional textiles be incorporated into contemporary interior design?
Lisa King in collaboration with Fiona McKay (Design Museum), Laura Perryman (Colour of Saying) and Lishan Tham (Studio Shan), this talk and hands-on workshop considers how batik and other heritage textiles can be adapted, styled and contextualised within modern spaces. Working with curated fabrics, colour palettes and visual references, participants will develop a room-based moodboard, guided by King, Perryman and Tham.
