Materiality | Contemporary Craft Auction, Thursday 16 May
Contemporary Ceramics Auction, Thursday 16 May

In Private Hands is a special presentation of British Contemporary Ceramics from the illustrious private collection of John and Joan Shipley, featuring exceptional works by Hans Coper and Lucie Rie alongside Bernard Leach and important works by the leading ceramic artists to have graduated from the Royal College of Art in the 1970s. The auction will take place in parallel to Maak’s Contemporary Ceramics auction, dedicated to the foremost international ceramic art of the 20th and 21st century, and a carefully curated auction of Contemporary Craft that follows the success of Maak’s inaugural Contemporary Craft auction in 2023.
