About

Cox London invites you to their Pimlico Road showroom for a panel discussion co-hosted with House & Garden. Hands and Heritage brings together industry experts and craft champions to discuss Why Craft Matters More Than Ever.

Chaired by House & Garden‘s Elizabeth Metcalfe, and joined by Cox London’s Head of Design, Simon Hasan, are Daniel Carpenter (Heritage Crafts), Nicola Dewar (Crafts Council), and Ottalie Stride (Albion Nord).

In this spirit, on display throughout the week is In Our Hands, an exhibition of works set against the backdrop of Cox London’s sculptural lighting and furniture.

This showcase brings together pieces from the atelier’s artisan community—independent artists in their own right—alongside works from Young Craft Citizens, a group advocating for young makers.

Through In Our Hands, Cox London aims to use their platform to support emerging talent, champion their crafts, and cultivate a spirit of generosity and gratitude within the creative community—throughout London Craft Week and beyond. In doing so, they honour the legacy of their own journey and those who came before them, ensuring the continuation of these heritage crafts.

In Our Hands speaks to more than the physical act of making—it embodies our innate connection to the earth’s materials, the traditions passed down through generations, and the shared duty of the craft community to nurture and sustain these ancient practices for the future.
