Join the Ambar team in an exciting workshop to learn about the craft of handweaving and design your own yarn composition, to be translated into a unique piece of wall art.

In this two-hour session, founder and designer Natalia talks about her inspiration and processes when designing her textile collections, and guides you in creating a yarn wrap – a creative tool used by weavers to visualise the final textile piece.

This session involves experimenting with colour and texture, using the studio’s archive yarns.

After the workshop, each yarn wrap created by participants is translated into a handwoven piece in the studio on Ambar’s tabletop loom. It will be sent to you framed and ready to hang. The pieces are approximately 20cm-15cm – the perfect size to uplift any corner of your home!

Throughout London Craft Week, Ambar is also hosting an archive sale, both in their Netil House-based studio and across social media. The team are selling a selection of one-off colourways and prototypes.

This workshop is suited to people of all abilities and ages, and all materials are provided. All necessary precautions at the time of the event will be taken to ensure each guest feels safe and secure.
