About

Home is more than a place — it is a feeling, a memory, a connection carried through time. ‘Echoes of Presence’ explores how materials become vessels of personal histories, embodying the traces of those who came before us and the emotions we leave behind.

This exhibition brings together artists working across diverse craft disciplines, including metal, jewellery, glass, ceramics, textiles, wood, paper, basketry, leather, stone and mixed media. Through their works, it highlights the ways in which craft allows us to capture fleeting moments, preserve intangible emotions and create tangible connections to our past and present. From delicate threads woven with family stories to metal and stone that hold the weight of memory, materials shape the way we remember, honour and express what words cannot.

‘Echoes of Presence’ asks: How do materials carry the imprint of our existence? How do we hold on to what is gone? And how do we craft presence from absence?
