About
FORGE presents a dynamic week of events celebrating contemporary jewellery design and craftsmanship, bringing together makers, collectors, and enthusiasts in the heart of Hatton Garden.
Our ‘London Calling’ jewellery showcase shines a light on the talent and skill of both established and emerging UK jewellery designers, including Jane Adam, Daphne Krinos, Mark Nuell, Emmeline Hastings, and Qiang Li. The showcase features a wide variety of materials and techniques reflecting the energy, innovation, and diversity of the UK’s contemporary jewellery scene. All pieces are available to view and buy throughout May.
On Tuesday 13 May, we host our much-loved Jewellery Skills Demonstration Day. Ten exceptional makers will share their skills across two live sessions, covering everything from enamelling and hand engraving to gemstone faceting and repoussé. Watch and learn from experts including Robin Girling, Clio Saskia, and Scott McIntyre as they demonstrate techniques and processes up close. Ideal for anyone exploring the intricacies of jewellery making—from students to professionals.
Wednesday 14 May features a topical and thought-provoking panel discussion on The Ethics of Beauty: Rethinking Value in a Post-Luxury Era. Chaired by Dr. Nadya Ostroff, the conversation will explore shifting perceptions of luxury, sustainable practice, ethical sourcing, and what ‘precious’ means in today’s world. Expect a lively, informed discussion relevant to both industry insiders and conscious consumers.
Join us on Thursday 15 May for our Meet the Maker Private View. This sociable evening offers the chance to meet over 20 exhibiting designers, hear about their inspiration, and enjoy a glass of wine in our welcoming showroom setting.
We close the week on Friday 16 May with a hands-on MasterMaker Workshop led by Paul Wells and Anastasia Young. Learn their innovative curved score and fold technique to create striking, sculptural metal forms.
