About
Discover the world of contemporary making through ancient crafts.
This rare opportunity lets you explore a working atelier in action. Known for its functional art inspired by natural forms in bronze, brass, and iron, the London studio is home to over 65 artisans and apprentices.
Each piece begins with a spark of inspiration and moves through a series of highly skilled, hands-on processes, from welding and iron forging to patination and the ancient art of lost-wax bronze casting.
During your visit, witness bronze poured, metal heated and shaped, and surfaces brought to life through deliberate, considered craft. Every hammer strike, twist of iron, and brushstroke carries purpose.
Founders and artists Christopher and Nicola Cox will welcome you into their private innovation studio, sharing the atelier’s ethos, of which preserving heritage crafts through training the next generation of makers is just one strand.
The tour continues through the workshops, offering an insider’s view of the skill, collaboration, and care behind every work, from concept to completion.
Whether you are an artist, designer, student, or aspiring craftsperson, this experience provides inspiring insight into craftsmanship at the highest level. Meet the makers, and see how creativity, skill, and tradition combine to shape extraordinary works.
