About
Ruup & Form is a curatorially led contemporary gallery in London dedicated to artists working at the intersection of art, craft and design. Founded in 2019, the gallery champions material led practices that combine conceptual rigour with exceptional craftsmanship, guided by the belief that meticulously made objects carry cultural significance and shape how we experience the spaces we inhabit.
The gallery’s programme centres on collectible craft, sculptural design and contemporary works that challenge traditional boundaries between disciplines. Through carefully curated exhibitions, Ruup & Form presents artists whose practices explore material, process and form while reimagining the role of objects across domestic, architectural and public environments.
Working with an international cohort of artists, the gallery supports the development of practices through exhibitions, institutional collaborations and strategic partnerships. Research driven programming remains central to its approach, creating thoughtful dialogues between artists, materials and ideas while bringing forward a diverse range of voices within contemporary craft and design.
Ruup & Form is delighted to present a selection of gallery artists as part of its presentation at Sotheby’s for London Craft Week. The presentation includes works by Erum Aamir, Jed Green, Bridget Harvey, Woo Jin Joo, Kerry Lemon, Barbara Long, Solenne Jolivet, Henrietta MacPhee, Carla Wright and Vic Wright. Together, these artists reflect the gallery’s commitment to practices that push the boundaries of material exploration while maintaining a deep respect for process and making.
Alongside its exhibition programme, Ruup & Form works closely with collectors, designers, architects and institutions to place works within meaningful contexts. Through acquisitions, commissions and collaborations, the gallery continues to expand the presence of contemporary material led practice within private collections and significant cultural environments.
Ruup & Form remains committed to championing artists whose work brings new perspectives to material and form, shaping the future of collectible craft and contemporary design.
