This exhibition is curated by the “Create Hangzhou” Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Platform. The exhibition with the theme of “Handmade in Hangzhou”, which focuses on the fusion of tradition and innovation, showcasing exquisite handicrafts such as bamboo weaving, paper-cutting, Chinese knotted buttons, and woodworking, alongside cultural and creative products. The exhibition brings together Three distinctive sections:

Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, as a national first-class museum, is dedicated to promoting the innovative power of arts and crafts heritage, seamlessly integrating traditional elements into contemporary life.
Xixing presents the intangible cultural heritage passed down from the source of the Zhedong Canal. Its bamboo-woven lanterns once illuminated the thousand-year-old poetic waterway, while traditions like Xixing paper-cutting and Chinese knotted buttons are now being revitalized.
Wanfeng carries forward the intangible cultural heritage of mortise-and-tenon craftsmanship, incorporating the essence of ancient architecture into its “Chinese-style LEGO” mortise-and-tenon building blocks, bringing the aesthetics of classical gardens into modern life.
A dedicated hands-on experience area is also on site, inviting you to personally feel the warmth of craftsmanship and experience the vibrant innovation of intangible cultural heritage.
