About

Jorum and Craft Scotland invite you to a uniquely sensory showcase blending fragrance and glass.

Marking 7 years since Jorum’s collaboration with glass artist Juli Bolaños-Durman on the Wild Flowers Collection, The Shape of Scent presents a curated installation of glass sculptures inspired by Jorum’s Progressive Botany Vol. I perfume range.

The objects on display embody the rich, raw and bountiful nature of wildflowers and our natural environment. Brought to life by deconstructing discarded glass, Juli reconfigures the elements through play, embellishing them with decadent layers of hand-cut details.

A ticketed event on Wednesday offers a special opportunity to be immersed in Juli’s practice through live demonstrations and a conversation with Jorum’s co-founder Chloe Mullen, led by Craft Scotland’s Creative Director Stacey Hunter followed by a cocktail reception.

The Wild Flowers Collection became a catalyst for the initiation of the Jorum Craft Award in 2020, an annual craft award delivered by Craft Scotland in partnership with Jorum Studio.

Jorum Studio is an independent Scottish fragrance house founded in 2019 by perfumer Euan McCall, dedicated to modern, high-quality scents that blend classical techniques with innovative, in-house production. They elevate fragrance as a true craft, emphasising ethical sourcing, natural materials, and storytelling.

Craft Scotland is the national development agency supporting makers and promoting craft. The organisation delivers an annual programme of support for makers, curators, craft educators and the wider craft ecology. It creates opportunities for people to learn about, participate in, appreciate and buy craft, promoting the contribution of craft to Scotland’s communities.
