About
As part of London Craft Week, Vigour and Skills will present a curated weekend programme at the Museum of the Home on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May. Across the two days, visitors will be able to discover a selection of contemporary UK makers’ collections, meet makers in person and experience live demonstrations that reveal the skill, material knowledge and process behind each piece.
Alongside the exhibition and demonstrations, a selected workshop programme will offer hands-on opportunities to learn directly from featured makers. From ceramics and weaving to leatherwork and other craft disciplines, the weekend celebrates the stories, techniques and environments behind contemporary craft.
Vigour and Skills is an online platform and studio space dedicated to championing UK makers through thoughtful curation, storytelling and direct connection with the public. This London Craft Week presentation offers a chance to encounter beautifully made work in a more personal and meaningful way over one dedicated weekend at the Museum of the Home.
