About
Amelia grew up in New Jersey, where she first discovered her creative instincts in her family’s flower shop. A move to New York led to an internship with an avant-garde florist, where she honed her eye for sculptural, expressive arrangements. Later, in London, she worked as a freelance florist, creating immersive floral installations across a range of settings. Becoming disheartened by the amount of waste in the industry she wanted to create something more permanent and returned to her childhood pastime of pottery.
She decided to leave the city for the seaside where she delved back into pottery experimenting with different hand-building pottery techniques.
The sea, the stones, and the shifting coastal landscape continue to inspire her forms and textures. Her collection has since grown to include sculptural lamps, functional pieces, and one-off artworks for the home. Bridging her understanding of city rhythm with rural quiet, Amelia brings a fresh, considered perspective to contemporary ceramics—promising work rooted in care, curiosity, and connection.
