About

Ann Van Hoey is a Belgian ceramic artist known for her clean, almost architectural forms. Her work is inspired by geometry, origami, and Japanese aesthetics. With precise folds and simple shapes, she creates objects that feel calm, balanced, and beautifully refined.

Although she didn’t formally study industrial design, her experience in both ceramics and design clearly shaped her artistic voice. Her pieces are shown in exhibitions around the world and are part of major collections, including the Musée Ariana in Geneva and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.

Alongside her sculptural work, she has also designed tableware for Serax, bringing her sense of form and elegance to everyday objects. In 2024, she collaborated with LOEWE to recreate her signature vessels in leather. Ann Van Hoey’s ceramics continue to blend tradition and innovation in a way that feels both timeless and contemporary.
