Ayshe Brandts creates distinctive jewellery cast directly from nature—twigs, buds and shell fragments—capturing forms that cannot be replicated by man. Formerly a landscape architect, she is driven by a fascination with shapes and patterns found in the nature. A determined non-conformist, she seeks out one-of-a-kind gemstones, particularly freeform rose cuts, to create jewellery that feels individual and expressive. Over the past 14 years, she has built a loyal following of like-minded nature lovers drawn to her quirky yet beautifully crafted pieces. Working primarily to commission, Ayshe develops each piece through a collaborative, organic process, using recycled or Fairtrade gold and ethically sourced gemstones wherever possible.
