About

David Partington is a production potter who makes durable, functional pottery for restaurants, cafes and bars. His work focuses on creating strong, practical ceramics designed to withstand the demands of busy hospitality environments while retaining the character of handmade pottery.

David has worked with John Lewis and The White Company, designing and producing ceramic ranges sold nationwide. This experience developed his skills in producing consistent, high quality ceramics at scale while maintaining thoughtful design and craftsmanship.

Alongside his studio practice, I work in primary schools, colleges, forensic units, prisons and youth centres delivering clay and wellbeing sessions. These workshops highlight the therapeutic benefits of working with clay, helping people build confidence, focus, wellbeing and creativity through making.

David also teaches throwing on the wheel and work as the technician for Fired Up 4.
