Heliconia Furniture was established by Christopher Burley in 2011, producing free standing pieces and cabinetry to private individuals and in collaboration with design agencies. Heliconia are sustainable designer-makers of furniture and objects, using everything from traditional woodworking skills to contemporary technology to create modern heritage pieces.
Moving forward, Heliconia will be exploring the expressive potential of materials and forms as well as the purely functional to create something visually unusual and narrative rich.
