About
Inkgo Lam Ka Yu (b. 1992, Hong Kong), the bamboo artist graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014. She apprenticed under Master Lui Ming in 2020, a bamboo steamer crafter in Hong Kong, and is committed to creating contemporary bamboo art that is rich in emotional depth and embodies Oriental aesthetics through traditional craftsmanship.
Since 2021, her works have been widely exhibited both locally and internationally, including London Craft Week (2023), the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival (2023), her solo exhibition “Oi! Onsite: ORGANs”(2024), the Art Plaza Project at the Hong Kong Palace Museum (2025) and “Shape of Tea” at Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware (2025).
