Isabella Anne Kelley is a dedicated silversmith driven by a passion for discovery and the ongoing development of artistic techniques. Her unique perspective of her surrounding environment, influenced by architecture, serves as a foundation for her creative process.
Operating between workshops in West Yorkshire and the dynamic Silver Space at Yorkshire Arts Space, Isabella’s craft flourishes. In West Yorkshire, she gathers her inspiration paying homage to the Victorian industrial heritage, meticulously transforming shapes into captivating patterns and lattices through the art of saw-piercing.

At the Silver Space, Isabella has been exploring traditional craftsmanship alongside a modern way of working. This journey has become pivotal in shaping her diverse portfolio, with a particular focus on creating compelling saw-pierced objects.
Isabella’s dedication to her craft is complemented by her academic achievements. Holding a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Design Crafts from De Montfort University, she garnered multiple awards during her student tenure, including a Gold award for design from the Goldsmiths Craft and Design Council. Building on this foundation, Isabella has now graduated from the Bishopsland Educational Trust, becoming a fellow.
