About

Jessica Jue silversmith and jeweller based at The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London. Known for her sculptural aesthetic, Jessica’s design is deeply influenced by her Chinese heritage and Austrian upbringing, in which fluid and bold designs are created. She reinvents traditional techniques in silver to craft elegantly beautiful contemporary designs that have won her many accolades.
Texture has always played an important role in Jessica’s designs. With the right texture, the form of a piece can be beautifully enhanced.

Jessica explores textural surfaces through the experimentation of different materials and translates her prints and drawings onto her sculptural forms. In the recent years Jessica began to create her own textured hammers that create unique, one of a kind surfaces.

Jessica Jue has won several awards at the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Awards and is represented in several major collections including The National Museums Scotland, The Goldsmiths’ Company and The V&A Museum.
