About
Katie Moore is a London-based artist who works part-time in her shared studio and freelances as a ceramics teacher. Her colorful, playful ceramic sculptures merge her background in illustration with her passion for documenting the world around her. Focusing on hand-built clay forms, Katie draws inspiration from natural landscapes, often approaching her work through the lens of theatre. She refers to her sculptures as ‘props,’ which are animated by vibrant painted backdrops that evoke distinct environments or scenes.
Katie’s work has been featured in Elle Decoration, and she has exhibited at M.A.H. Gallery in London. She has also created exclusive collections for Morgans Gallery in Falmouth and Tappan in Los Angeles.
