Kerstin Neumüller is an author, craftswoman and teacher living in Södermanland, Sweden. She has a degree in menswear tailoring and has also studied traditional folk costume sewing and textile history.

In the last decade she has released five books; Handbok om Indigo (Indigo – Cultivate dye create), Lappat och Lagat (Mend and patch), Simple weave (Simple weave), Vardagsslöjd and Laga med sashiko. She has also been a co-owner of a denim store. Her bread and butter is teaching short classes in various crafts and carving the weaving tools I call “heddles“ which are a kind of wooden rigid heddle inspired by Scandinavian weaving traditions.
