About

The lunetier Ludovic Elens is a Brussels-based Maison d’Artisans established in 2015 by Ludovic Elens and dedicated to bespoke eyewear and limited-series handcrafted spectacles. All frames are made in-house, either fully made-to-measure or as part of the in-house Jazz Collection, with the work always prioritising comfort, robustness and precision.

Over the past decade, the atelier has developed a strong in-house savoir-faire, working with materials such as genuine horn, acetate, wood, traditional and precious metals, as well as alloys. Design is guided by proportions and balance, but above all by the meeting, inspirations and wishes of the client, while making relies on the intelligence of the hand, refined through repeated work at the bench by the team in the atelier.

Joining London Craft Week for the first time is an important step for the Maison d’Artisans, and while clients are often welcomed to the Brussels atelier, where the work takes shape, the team also travels regularly across Europe and further afield to meet them directly, when and where more convenient.
