About

Italian-born Manuel Mazzotti is a bookbinder, designer, artist and trained engineer who creates limited edition books, prints and bespoke presentation boxes.
Manuel pursued advanced training by learning from some of the best bookbinders in Europe. After receiving a QEST Scholarship in 2015, he trained under Kathy Abbott and Tracey Rowledge, specialising in fine binding and gold tooling, respectively. He later continued his studies in Switzerland at the Centro del Bel Libro, where he explored the folded, origami-like structures of Hedi Kyle under school director Suzanne Schmollgruber. Today, his work is held in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Tate, the British Library, the London College of Fashion, and the National Poetry Library.
