Panida Taemjan is an esteemed Thai artisan renowned for her exceptional skill in Benjarong painting, a traditional Thai ceramic art that has been cherished for centuries. As a 2014 Master Artisan of Benjarong Craft recognized by the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (SACIT), Panida has dedicated her career to refining the artistry of hand-painted ceramics. She founded S. Lang Suan Benjarong, now operating under the Hearterpiece brand, in her hometown of Lang Suan, Chumphon Province. Her creations exhibit distinctive designs inspired by the Sino-Portuguese and Sino-European artistic heritage of Southern Thailand, infused with intricate patterns and vibrant yet harmonious color schemes.
Panida’s artistic vision extends beyond traditional decorative pieces; she has reimagined Benjarong for practical and contemporary use.
