Nadège Mouyssinat is an alchemist; she can transform a simple mineral powder into a luxurious and highly refined material with water, fire and time.
Passionate about the world of luxury, she honed her craft alongside prestigious French porcelain makers for 10 years. With the utmost respect to the rules of the craft, she learnt about the importance of lines as well as the sublimation of matter and mastered the technical aspects of its ‘timeless’ gestures. She then adopted this age-old savoir-faire to develop her own methods.
Nadège Mouyssinat’s work is a point of convergence between several disciplines. Her unique, sensual, and fascinating universe is the result of research inspired by literature, history, and mythology. Born in 1984 in the French city of Toulouse, Nadège Mouyssinat studied art and art history in Bordeaux, then in Limoges, in the South-West of France, where she lives and works today.
