About
Olga Siruk is a London-based ceramic artist whose work explores cultural memory, displacement and the shifting meanings of heritage in the 21st century. Drawing on Russian folk art, fairy tales and the visual language of the avant-garde, she creates sculptural ceramic forms that balance simple shapes with richly articulated surfaces. Her hand-built works are decorated using paper-resist and underglaze techniques, bringing together ornament, symbolism and contemporary form. Influenced by the Ballets Russes, her work reflects a dialogue between tradition and reinvention. Olga is the recipient of the London Potters Annual Makers Award. Her work has been exhibited at BCB 2025 (Fresh) and she was a finalist for the CERCO International Ceramic Prize in Zaragoza. In 2026 she will present her work at Ceramic Art London.
