About
Based at studio 1.11 at Oxo Tower Wharf, Patrick is a printmaker and designer who began his creative studies with figurative art and mark-making at Leith School of Art in Edinburgh. He followed this with a degree in Fine Art and History of Art & Architecture at Newcastle University where he specialised in printmaking with a focus on aquatint etching.
More recently he studied digital print onto fabric at Central St Martins in London. He has created the exuberant brand Furious Goose where his prints can be enjoyed applied to silk, cashmere and other sustainable fabrics in the form of scarves, pocket squares, ties and other accessories.
Influences range from William Morris to Rothko, baroque to techno, and art history to science, with a common thread being a deep appreciation of and talent for colour. Furious Goose has been featured across the BBC and Channel 4, The Field, Country & Townhouse, Christies Magazine and the Guardian Newspaper.
