About
Rick was born and raised in Stratford and as far back as he can remember he have always had a passion for art. At the age of 16 he attended Barking and Dagenham College and stayed there for 4 years learning the science and techniques of decorative painting.
He has since gone on to work in many private and public buildings around London
such as the Royal Academy of Art, the V&A, Harrods, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace and the Foreign Office to name a few. He has also completed commissions for many well-known designers, companies and clients. He is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers.
When he’s not at work he is normally in his studio practicing techniques and making mediums from his collection of old books, some going back as far as the 18th century.
