About

Tim Fluck is a ceramic artist based in East Sussex. Since graduating with a MA in Ceramics from UCA, he has gained recognition for his unique approach to ceramics; combining resin, acrylic and neon lights, pushing the boundaries of contemporary ceramic art.
His tabletop-sized porcelain sculptures of various component parts are arranged to create playful yet precarious architectural compositions. Conceptually the work reflects on the origins of Brutalist Architecture, with his newest pieces delving into the sensorial experience of sculpture and the aesthetics of pleasure, joy and desire.
He is a British Ceramics Biennial Fresh Talent Award winner, has exhibited at the world-renowned Collect Craft Fair at Somerset House and has shown work at the UK’s leading ceramics event Ceramic Art London for the past two years.
