Born in Brazil, I grew up surrounded by the country’s exuberant landscapes, which have inspired me since an early age.
A degree in architecture helped me develop a strong visual language, a keen eye for detail, and an understanding of physical space.
A year later after graduating, I was introduced to clay and became captivated by its versatility and expressive potential. My large-scale porcelain installations draw inspiration from both architectural and botanical structures, reflecting my enduring fascination with the intersection of urban landscapes and natural forms. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural world, and porcelain offers the smoothness and malleability I need to create new shapes, sometimes manipulating the material to appear almost
weightless. I work through repetitive sequencing, using individual elements to form cohesive sculptural compositions. My primary focus is on large-scale installations, with the aim of creating works that inspire, connect, and evoke an emotional response.
