About
Discover a decade of Pragnell’s Exhibition pieces. These unique creations champion jewellery’s forgotten crafts. Learn the stories behind each concept, including the Antrobus collection, inspired by the brand’s Royal commission. On Thursday 7 October, Pragnell’s award-winning jeweller brings his workbench in store for an insight into what it takes to be a master craftsman.
Pragnell prides itself on a carefully selected, world-class offering in their Stratford-upon-Avon, Leicestershire and Mayfair showrooms.
A family-owned and run sixth-generation jewellers, Pragnell is a purveyor of rare jewels; period jewellery and silver; luxury watches and clocks. Their experience, craft, passion and belief in the pursuit of the exceptional without exception sets them apart.
Acquiring the finest rare gemstones is a labour of love, and nowhere is this more apparent than in the brand’s Exhibition pieces. Gemstones in every Exhibition piece are hand-selected by a member of the Pragnell family. Each piece is then designed around the stones to best showcase their unique qualities, before then being passed to their master craftsman to showcase unique skills, including micro-setting, enamelling and pavé, amongst many others.
From design to execution, Pragnell endeavour to champion individuality by delivering pieces that not only challenge convention, but define new standard of excellence both for the brand and the industry. Pragnell know that each piece represents a symbolic moment in time, and to their collectors, is a precious expression of individuality.
Pragnell won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2018. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s highest official award for British business performance, recognising and rewarding outstanding achievement by UK companies. The awards are presented each year by the Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister.
