About
Goldfinger launches its first circular design furniture collection. Limited-edition samples of the four-piece collection have been handcrafted from reclaimed teak worktables, donated by Imperial College London. The exclusive samples are on display in the Goldfinger showroom throughout London Craft Week. The collection will be sold at auction, with all proceeds going to the Goldfinger Academy, which works in schools to equip young learners to become the sustainably-minded designers of the future, and offers free craft courses to local residents facing financial hardship.
The collection, including a desk, chair, bench, coffee table, is also available to purchase from Goldfinger in British Oak, Beech and Cedar, made to order by Goldfinger artisans.
On Wednesday 6 October, Goldfinger hosts a launch event, with a talk on circular design thinking by Marie Carlisle, Goldfinger CEO and co-founder, and Katie Treggiden, purpose-driven writer and speaker who champions a circular approach to craft and design.
Goldfinger is also holding an open studio throughout London Craft Week, with live demonstrations in their workshop by their in-house maker, Daniele Barco.
