BOOKING INFORMATION
Join us at our woodworking workshop in Trellick Tower, where we work across timber framing, furniture and design. We’re opening our studio to share tools, works in progress and finished pieces, with demonstrations, talks and informal conversations shaped by our experience in the UK and Japan.
About
Come and visit the woodworking workshop on the ground floor of Trellick Tower. The Makers of Trellick Tower are three woodworkers working across timber framing, furniture making, and design, each with their own approach but sharing a space and a focus on working with wood.
Over three days, they will be opening up the workshop and showcasing the hand tooling aspect of their work. You’ll be able to see tools, works in progress, finished pieces, and get a closer look at the process behind them. The makers are happy to talk through what they do, how they work, and some of the ideas and techniques that shape their practice and share their experience of woodworking in both the UK and Japan..
If you’re interested in woodworking, tools, or simply appreciate well-made furniture and craftsmanship, this is a location for you. There will be short demonstrations, informal Q&A sessions, and a few talks on Thursday afternoon where they will go into more detail about their work.
The location is only open for three days, with a small opening event on Wednesday evening and a relaxed closing on Friday. The three makers are also present between the stated ‘Open Studios’ and the evening events so feel free to drop in, stay for a bit, ask questions, or just have a look around.
Emi will also be leading an intensive workshop on May 16th + 17th (14hrs over 2 days). Tickets for that workshop can be purchased here: https://book.stripe.com/fZueVebLvfZjexFe3V3sI0d
