Jason Posnot is a London-based furniture designer and maker, and founder of Or This Studio, creating considered furniture and objects rooted in sustainability, craftsmanship, and material exploration.
Working primarily with timber, and embracing the natural character of each piece, allowing grain and irregularities to inform the final geometry. Through a balance of traditional techniques and experimental processes, the work explores tactility, contrast, and quiet detail.
Each piece is made slowly and with intention, from material selection through to final refinement, resulting in objects that sit between function and art. Sustainability is approached through both responsible sourcing and a focus on longevity, creating pieces designed to endure and be experienced over time.
Jason collaborates with architects, designers, and private clients to produce bespoke, one-off works and small collections with a strong material presence and sense of story.
