About

From his early years as a gilder and restorer, Rupert Bevan has continually expanded his skills to develop a thriving furniture business, designing and making bespoke and Collection pieces in the beautiful countryside in Shropshire.

With a wood, metal, glass and finishing workshop all under one roof, allowing the business to produce furniture in countless different styles and materials, woodwork is at the core of what Rupert Bevan does — making made-to-order pieces by hand.

Rupert’s fascination with combining traditional methods with modern techniques forms the context of his participation in London Craft Week this year. Rupert and his craftsmen are in his Notting Hill showroom discussing and demonstrating the captivating art of Japanese joinery.
