Go behind the scenes at Borough Market with live demonstrations and tours showcasing the many artisan crafts that produce the food we love.

There are Market Master Craft demonstrations on Thursday 12 May from 10am – 4.30pm in the Borough Market Store – No booking necessary. Learn about the knife makers’ craft, their skills and the use of specific knives with Borough Kitchen; experience the process of letterpress relief printing with Pete Gibbons from Railton Press; and watch renowned artist Rosie Brooks create one of her vibrant Market illustrations in real time.

There are also two free Craft Tours led by Jenny Chandler with 12 places available per tour on Thursday 12 May between 10am-4pm. The tours will visit traders to gain unique insights into their craft, including the skill of cheese selection and maturation with Borough Cheese Company; the art of the cortadoras de jamón at Brindisa, oystershucking with Furness Fish Markets and butchery with The Ginger Pig.
