About
The Earthworks Ceramics Market 2026 brings together our vibrant community of makers, showcasing a wide range of work from current members, from functional tableware to sculptural pieces. It’s a chance to experience the creativity, skill and diversity that defines our studio.
Across the weekend, the studio will be open to the public, offering a rare opportunity to step inside a working ceramics space. Visitors can meet the makers, learn about their processes, and engage directly with the work.
In the lead-up to the market, our members are also hosting a sealed bid auction, offering a first glimpse of the work on show. Each artist has contributed a piece, and visitors are invited to place a private bid. As bids are not visible, it’s all about what the work means to you.
The auction is a rare opportunity to collect original ceramics in an open and accessible way, while supporting a growing community of artists. You’re welcome to bid on multiple pieces and even return to increase your bid if something has really caught your eye. You’ll only ever be charged if yours is the highest bid.
Whether you’re a collector, a ceramics enthusiast, or simply curious, we’d love to welcome you. Place a bid, discover new work, and join us at the market to celebrate the making.
Earthworks Ceramic Studios is a bright and sunny creative space nestled in the lively heart of Brixton. A true hidden gem, this tranquil studio offers a peaceful retreat from the vibrant energy of the surrounding neighbourhood. We offer a diverse mix of ad hoc group classes, courses, and open access memberships to provide something for everyone from beginners to experienced ceramicists and artists.
